Hi, I’m Ashley! Dogs have always held a special place in my heart, so becoming the owner of The Loyal Companion is truly a dream come true. As a proud Dog Mom, my goal is to create a place where every dog is treated like family and every person feels welcomed and valued. When I’m not at the shop, I love spending time with my husband, Brett, and our two Labs, Dexter and Cooper, traveling, relaxing at our cabin in Prairie du Chien, or watching a good reality show or crime documentary. I’m so grateful for the relationships we build with our four-legged guests and the people who love them, and I’m honored you trust The Loyal Companion with your best friend.

Hi, I’m Brett! By day, I’m a Quality Manager, and on nights and weekends, you’ll usually find me at The Loyal Companion helping bring our family’s vision to life. I’m proud to be part of creating a place where dogs and their families feel right at home. When I’m not working, I love spending time with my wife, Ashley, our kids, Makayla and Hudson, and our Labs, Dexter and Cooper, especially at our cabin in Prairie du Chien. I also enjoy hunting, golfing, exploring Southwest Wisconsin, tackling projects around the house, and traveling. Hi, I’m Hudson! I’m a junior at Southwestern High School and excited to be part of The Loyal Companion team. You’ll often find me around the shop greeting customers, stocking shelves, helping wherever I’m needed, and, of course, giving plenty of attention to our four-legged visitors. I’ve always loved animals and am just as much a cat person as I am a dog person! Outside of school and the shop, I enjoy spending time with friends and family and going on whatever adventure we come up with next. I’m excited to be part of our family’s journey with The Loyal Companion and can’t wait to meet you and your pets!

Hi, I’m Jordan! I’ve always had a passion for dogs and love being able to turn that into a career as a groomer. One of my favorite parts of grooming is seeing the transformation and knowing each pup leaves looking and feeling their best. Labrador Retrievers have an extra special place in my heart—I have two black Labs of my own! Outside of the shop, I love hiking, hunting, exploring, and spending time outdoors, especially when my Labs can join the adventure. I’m excited to meet all the pups who come through The Loyal Companion and make their grooming experience as comfortable and positive as possible!

Hi! I’m Samantha! I’ve been grooming for 13 years, and I still love getting to know all the different personalities that come through the door. Every dog is different, and that’s definitely part of what keeps grooming fun for me!
Some of my favorite breeds to groom are Schnauzers and Pomeranians. I also have a huge soft spot for bully breeds.
I originally got into grooming because of my love for dogs, and over the last 13 years it’s grown into something I’ve really made my own. One of my favorite parts is seeing the transformation after a groom and building relationships with the dogs I get to see regularly.

Woof! I’m Dexter, one of Ashley and Brett’s Labrador Retrievers and an unofficial product tester at The Loyal Companion! At 10 years old, I’m proof that age is just a number. With the help of quality nutrition and supplements, I’ve been feeling more like a puppy again—running, playing, and enjoying every adventure. When I’m not busy testing treats, you’ll find me exploring our cabin in Prairie du Chien, chasing tennis balls, soaking up belly rubs, or convincing Mom and Dad that I deserve just one more treat. I’m proud to be part of The Loyal Companion family and can’t wait to meet you and your furry friends!

Woof! I’m Cooper, Ashley and Brett’s other Labrador Retriever, loyal sidekick, and fellow product tester at The Loyal Companion! I’m 8 years old and have experienced firsthand just how much the right nutrition, supplements, and care can make a difference. These days, I’m full of energy and always ready for some fun! When I’m not helping “test” treats at the shop, you’ll find me adventuring at the cabin in Prairie du Chien, riding along in the side-by-side, playing outside, or enjoying plenty of attention from my family.
